- Can I get cash or use the ABLE Prepaid Card at an ATM?

No. Your card cannot be used to get cash or withdraw money from ATMs.
- What happens if I try to spend more than my ABLE Prepaid Card balance?

If there are not enough funds on the ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card to cover a purchase, the transaction will simply be declined. There are no overdraft fees whatsoever.
- How much money can I put on the ABLE Prepaid Card?

You can load as much or as little as you need on the ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card up to $20,000. The maximum load limit per day is $5,000.
- Can I pause my ABLE Prepaid Card temporarily?

The ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card can be paused temporarily or closed at any time. Simply log in to your Prepaid Card dashboard and click the “Account” tab. Then select the “Temporarily disable” or “Permanently close card” button. Alternatively, you can contact ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card support.
- How does the ABLE Prepaid Card fee get paid?
- Fees for your ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card are deducted from the card’s available balance and not your ABLE account. - No. A credit check is not required to open an ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card. However, the federal government does require True Link to verify the identity of each cardholder who opens an account. - What if I already receive direct deposit payments from the SSA in a different account?

To switch the account you receive your direct deposits in, you will need to update your settings with the SSA. You can update your deposit settings in your Social Security account here.
